Shure Applications Engineering is a team of audio professionals and technical specialists dedicated to answering your questions about Shure professional products. From the most basic technical question to the most complex installation, Shure Applications Engineering delivers timely, accurate response.
How timely? Inquiries are accepted via phone, fax or e-mail. The majority of phone inquiries are generally answered immediately; voice mails and faxes are answered within the hour. E-mails are answered twice every business day. Unique to the audio industry, this staff and this service is available at no charge to all users and potential users of Shure products.
Shure's Applications Group is also responsible for managing the FAQ Solutions Database on www.shure.com. This central knowledge storehouse is dedicated to delivering the knowledge and information you need to get the performance you want. Searchable by product, subject area, or keyword phrase, over 3000 questions and answers are currently stored in the ever-expanding resource.
Educational materials are another resource developed by Shure's Applications Team. Technical papers such as “The Myth of Microphone Reach” and “Predicting Speech to Background Noise Ratio” and publications such as “Audio Systems Guide for Houses of Worship” and “Microphone Techniques for Live Sound Reinforcement”, are just two examples of the comprehensive educational library authored by Shure Applications associates.
