WORSHIP THEATER: MIKING A THEATRICAL PRODUCTION
In this issue of Shure Notes for Houses of Worship, we’ll spotlight theater miking. The gear’s a little different, and so are the challenges. In miking praise music, you don’t want the sound to get in the way of the worship experience. In theatre, the word is the worship and it’s important that your congregation hear every syllable and inflection.

We also caught up with the ‘man behind the curtain’ at major festivals, Denny Keitzman of Strait Gate Productions, who knows a thing or two about staging events.
