Microphones & Wireless in Worship
This is a class for novices and experienced alike. It covers the differences in the most popular microphone types used in church. Dynamics and condensers; how do microphones hear? Polar patterns; rules that you must know for live sound, the inverse square law, three-to-one rule, proximity effect and more. This class will also cover the fundamentals of operating and selecting wireless systems. All class attendees will receive printed books from Shure that cover the subject in greater depth.

This two-day course will provide complete system design ideas to help you choose the correct combination of Yamaha, Nexo, and Shure products.

Training will focus on setup techniques ranging from microphones to large-scale speakers. Topics include: gain construction, attenuator settings, SPL estimation, spec-sheet analysis, and much more.

Shure’s Doug Gould will be on hand to present and answer your questions. The seminar is free – and so is lunch.

Class size is limited, so visit Yamaha’s website for all the details, along with enrollment information.
