Wireless Technologies Explained:  Using Multiple Systems

Not that long ago, we devoted an entire issue of Shure Notes to a discussion of whether to go wireless. Today, wireless systems are standard equipment for every church, auditorium, touring act, theatrical company and broadcast crew. And the question is not when or whether but how – especially as it relates to systems that can number more than 50 or 60 devices.

Who better to serve as our guide than Tim Vear, the Shure Applications Engineering expert who wrote our book on church audio? We also got some first-hand advice from Scott Nelson, who heads the Worship Experience Team at Cherry Hills Community Church in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.
